Q.How many letters can I have on one
stocking?
A. We can knit 8 letters into a stocking, or embroider up to 16 letters
into a stocking. See Personalization. |

Q.What color will personalization
be?
A. When you look at the stocking on the site, there is a design or name
in the pictured stocking. The color of the design or name is the same as
the name on the stocking you will receive unless you specifically ask for
something different. |

Q. Can you personalize a stocking which
has an accent mark above a letter?
A. If the personalization is to be embroidered, it will be automatic.
If the personalization is knit in, we hand embroider the accent mark after
the stocking is knit. |

Q. How long will it be before I receive
my stocking order?
A. During most of the year, delivery will be about 3 weeks. November
and December are naturally the busiest months, and things get slowed down
somewhat. Only in very unusual circumstances will you have to wait longer
than 5 weeks. During the Christmas season, the cut-off for personalized
stockings has more to do with the number of orders than knitting speed.
After December 1 your flexibility with design and type of personalization
may help speed your delivery. |

Q. What if I need a stocking
faster?
A. The stockings that are personalized with embroidery have a faster
turn-around time. We try to keep our best selling stockings in stock, ready
to embroider and ship. If you need a stocking for a wedding next weekend,
we have blanks that will be perfect for the newlyweds. The selection is limited
to best sellers, but give us a call. I bet we can offer you a spectacular
gift for your friends! |

Q. How will I know if you received my
e-mail order?
A. If you e-mail an order, you should receive e-mail confirmation within
36 hours. If you don't receive confirmation, we may not have received your
order. Please call for verification. |

Q. I like your designs, but what if I want
the sledders at a border above the Christmas tree instead of the presents
as shown?
A. We can do that for you! Fill out the custom
stocking request and mail or fax it in. We'll confirm your order and
start knitting. |

Q. Can you knit a logo into a stocking
for me?
A. Send the logo, or image, and I'll call and let you know if we can do
it, or not, what the approximate cost will be, and how long it will take
to complete. |

Q. Can you tell me what design we ordered
before?
I had stockings knit as a baby gift for friends, who have just had another
baby. Can you tell me what design we made for the first baby so I don't duplicate
it?
A. If you can tell me approximately when the baby came, and what the Baby's
name was, I can look into your old records and see what the design was. From
there we can match it or compliment it. |

Q. Do you offer gift
certificates?
A. Yes we do. Gift certificates are good for one year from the purchase
date. We can send it to you to for presentation, or send it directly to the
giftee. |

Q. How can I tell if your cranberry will
work with my red? My Christmas decorations are
a very specific color of red.
A. We are happy to send you color swatches of our yarn colors. |

Q. Can you duplicate the stocking my
grandmother knit for me 50 years ago?
A. Maybe. Send it to us (insured of course) and we'll take a look. We can
tell you how close we can come in color and heft. |
